supporting you and your family
throughout the seasons of motherhood.
PregnancyAn Antepartum Doula provides practical and emotional support in a family's home during pregnancy. This service can be especially helpful for women who are on bed rest, pregnant mothers with other children, or women experiencing Hyperemesis Gravidarum (very severe morning sickness), depression/anxiety, or other pregnancy complications.
|
LaborA Labor/Birth Doula provides continuous emotional, physical, and informational support for a woman and her family during labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period. A doula does not give medical advice or do clinical procedures, but works collaboratively with the birth team, staying attuned to the family's needs and preferences.
|
PostpartumA Postpartum Doula provides nonjudgmental support in a family's home after they bring baby home. This includes practical help (such as dishes, laundry, & caring for baby while you sleep), breast & bottle feeding support, assurance & emotional support, and informational support (such as newborn care, resources, & referrals).
